Our company participated in drafting this standard, which replaces HG/T2—2012Lithium Bromide Solution forChillers. It was issued on September 30, 2022 and implemented on April 15, 2023. Compared to HG/T2822—9012, apart from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) Changed the index parameters for iron (Fe), chlorides (Cl), and ammonium salts (NH4). Class II also includes changes to the lithium molybdate (L12Mo04) and pH (100yL solution) index parameters (see 6.2, section 5.2 of the 2012 version);

b) Added copper (Cu) index and test methods (see 6.2, 7, 9);

c) Added determination method for iron content using atomic absorption spectrophotometry (see 7.8, D);

Added determination method for sulfate, chloride, bromate, and ammonium salt content using ion chromatography (see 7.11.1, 7.12.2, 7.13.1, 7.15.1); e) Added informative Appendix A.
